There are many ways that you can help!

This is your chance to truly make a difference, to truly change things for the better. We need your help. There is much to be done.

You can get involved by coming to our meetings and events. We hold regular open meetings at locations throughout Japan. At these meetings you can participate in the ongoing process of creating a campaign for a Ministry for Peace for Japan. It is the ideal opportunity to express your ideas and have your say on the issues at hand. It is also a good opportunity to meet the people involved with JUMP.

Join JUMP

Soon we will begin a membership scheme, which you are very welcome to join. Membership subscription is 3,000 Yen per year plus a 2,000 Yen joining fee. Members are entitled to discounts at our events.

Support Our Campaigns

We are starting to formulate plans for a series of campaigns to highlight the need for a Ministry of Peace for Japan, and exactly what difference to just and effective government such a ministry can make. Letter-writing, lobbying, getting the idea discussed through the media - all needs the support of a lot of people. Which is where you come in...

Writing an Article

We are currently seeking articles of inspirational, information, deep thought and philosophy on the themes of conflict transformation, successful examples of mediation, peace work in education etc. Are you a writer? Could you write an article to inspire? If so we'd like to hear from you. Articles submitted will be published on this web site, and may be included in other literature.

Fund-raising

JUMP/Global Peace Campaign cannot survive without adequate funding. We need your help in raising funds to cover the cost of poster printing, badge making, web site, etc. Perhaps you have a fund-raising idea, or could help organise a fund-raising event in your area. If so, we'd like to hear from you.

Getting Your Group Involved

Do you belong to a peace or other related group? Perhaps you belong to an organization sympathetic to the aims of JUMP. If so, do tell them about us. Maybe your group could help raise awareness throughout its network, or with fund-raising activities. Please let us know if your group or organization can help in any way. We would be happy to place a link to your group on our Links & Contacts page.

Inform Others

Tell your family and friends about us. Help spread the word! Tell them about this web site. Perhaps you could print some of the information pages from this web site, and pass them on to others. The more people who know about JUMP the better our chances of success!

Adding a Link to Our Web Site

Do you regularly visit web sites which would be sympathetic to our aims? Perhaps you could ask that web site to add a link to our web site.

Why not spread the word about Jump and the Global Peace Campaign through Internet bulletin boards? Do you participate in Internet bulletin boards, or similar? If so, inform others by posting a message about us. Don't forget to mention our web site, so people can find out more.

Send an E-Postcard

We are considering making JUMP E-Postcards available in the near future. When we do, why not send one or more of our attractive E-mail postcards to your friends and contacts. E-Postcards are free to send, and provide an attractive way of introducing others to JUMP.

E-mail

Perhaps you could inform your friends and e-mail contacts about the Global Peace Campaign. The e-mail could be quite short, with just a brief introduction and a link to our web site, for further information. Why not add a reference to the Global Peace Campaign or JUMP in your e-mail signature. That is an easy way to spread the word and show your support!

We have made a number of interesting and useful items available in our on-line shop. They include: Books, DVD’s, videos and tickets to our events. You can also donate to the Global Peace Campaign and/or JUMP through our GPC Store. Currently the Web store is under construction and is not yet open for business.

Please consider making a donation to the JUMP/Global Peace Campaign. The JUMP/Global Peace Campaign initiative cannot survive without adequate funding, and personal donation's are a major source of our funding.
